DESCRIPTION:<p>CACHET is organizing its 2nd PhD seminar. The purpose is to provide you with some general insights into the art of doing a PhD and to give you an option to present your work and get feedback on it. And of source to learn about, and from, other PhD students who are part of the center. The common theme is clearly the health aspects of your thesis, but feedback on other aspect is most certainly also planned.\n</p>\n<p>\nThe seminar will take place on March 23rd at 0900-1100 @DTU, <strong>building 324 (DTU Compute) meeting room 161</strong>. The agenda is:</p>\n<ol>\n    <li>Welcome and round of introduction, including a brief status of CACHET\n    </li>\n    <li>'The Art of Doing a Phd' talk by Jakob Bardram\n    </li>\n    <li>Each student presents his research project within 5 min. and receives feedback\n    </li>\n    <li>General discussion and next steps\n    </li>\n    <li>Coffee&nbsp;and cake</li>\n</ol>\n<p>As you can see <span style="text-decoration: underline;">you should come with you standard 5 min. presentation</span> (the one that a PhD student always can pull from the laptop). We will give you feedback on your presentation, your presentation skills, and your research.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Before the seminar, read more on "<a href="http://www.bardram.net/the-art-of-doing-a-phd/" target="_blank">The Art of Doing a PhD</a>" incl. how to do a good presentation.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>
