Usage models, such as eHealth and home automation, are designed to offer convenient services. In the overall concept of a smart living, the interoperability and consistency are of most importance. This workshop is designed for people who are interested in the advanced technologies that provide smart control on data transmission, data management, and power saving. The covered areas include optical networks, wireless networks, power line networks, railway networks and home automation.
