blue box with the text "Research Meetings"
This page lists the schedule for the CACHET research meetings, which takes place every other Friday at 09:00-10:00.

The meetings alternate between being "common" for all researchers in CACHET and being "internal" for researchers in the technical sciences (primarily at DTU) and health sciences (primarily at UCPH and Region H). The meetings at DTU will be held in building 324 at Lyngby campus (map) and the meetings at UCPH will be held on Panum campus (map).

The general schedule of each meeting is:

  1. A short status from everyone [15 min]
  2. Talk I [15 min]
  3. Talk II [15 min]
  4. Q&A and networking [15 min]

7 December @ UCPH
eHealth for minors - Ethnographic observations of what we should know about everyday life challenges and technological tactics to design good eHealth solutions for minors with chronic diseases."
by Claudia Maria Bagge-Petersen

7 December @ DTU

9 November @ UCPH
"Health promotion and Biological Age technology"
by Karina Louise Skov Husted
Abstract:
Assessment of Biological Age trigger desirable health behavior and thereby act as a catalyst for self-care. However, little scientific work has been done on Biological Age technologies utilized in health promotion activities. Thus, this study aim to develop a new Biological Age prediction model, using composite biomarkers applicable to the general health care system.

9 November @ DTU
"The Artificial Pancreas and Related Diabetes Technology for Glucose Homeostasis"
by Dimitri Boiroux

26 October @ DTU

"FitMum: Using commercial activity tracker in physical activity research: promises and challenges"
by Saud Abdulaziz M Alomairah
Abstract: The World Health Organization considers physical inactivity as the fourth risk factor for death. Measuring physical activity is essential components in health promotion programs, research, and clinical practice. There are different tools available to measure physical activity level, in FitMum RCT we chose commercial activity tracker; this presentation will illustrate the benefits and challenges of using this tool.

"CACHET Research Platform - CARP"
by Jakob E. Bardram

12 October @ UCPH

"WARD-COPD: Continuous vital sign monitoring during admission for acute exacerbations of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease – Quantification of Micro Events"
by Mikkel Elvekjær
Abstract:
Repeated evaluation of hospitalized patient’s vital signs is necessary to assess the clinical situation in the medical ward, but patients may deteriorate between measurements. The aim of this study was to compare the frequency and duration of cardiopulmonary micro events in patients admitted with acute exacerbation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease detected by continuous monitoring to those documented by routine Early Warning Score (EWS).

12 October @ DTU

by Raju Maharjan & Devender Kumar
Abstract:

14 September @ UCPH

"FitMum: Fitness for good health of mother and child"
by Caroline Borup Roland
Abstract: There is a gap in evidence and practice towards tackling the significant public health issue of being physically inactive during pregnancy, and the vision of the FitMum project is to increase physical activity among Danish pregnant women. This presentation will be about the FitMum study, which is designed as a three-armed randomized controlled trial and will use a wearable activity device as primary measurement tool to evaluate the effects of two very different approaches to exercise during pregnancy on physical activity level. The project will generate evidence about how to implement physical activity in pregnant women’s everyday life.
