The meetings alternate between being "common" for all researchers in CACHET and being "internal" for researchers in the technical sciences (primarily at DTU) and health sciences (primarily at UCPH and Region H). The meetings at DTU will be held in building 324 at Lyngby campus (map) and the meetings at UCPH will be held on Panum campus (map).

Abstract:Repeated evaluation of hospitalized patient’s vital signs is necessary to assess the clinical situation in the medical ward, but patients may deteriorate between measurements. The aim of this study was to compare the frequency and duration of cardiopulmonary micro events in patients admitted with acute exacerbation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease detected by continuous monitoring to those documented by routine Early Warning Score (EWS).

 "FitMum: Fitness for good health of mother and child"

Abstract: There is a gap in evidence and practice towards tackling the significant public health issue of being physically inactive during pregnancy, and the vision of the FitMum project is to increase physical activity among Danish pregnant women. This presentation will be about the FitMum study, which is designed as a three-armed randomized controlled trial and will use a wearable activity device as primary measurement tool to evaluate the effects of two very different approaches to exercise during pregnancy on physical activity level. The project will generate evidence about how to implement physical activity in pregnant women’s everyday life.
